Germany came from behind to edge out Ivory Coast 2–1 in a tightly contested match, thanks to a standout performance from Deniz Undav.

Ivory Coast struck first in the opening half, with Franck Kessié putting them ahead after a strong attacking spell. Despite enjoying spells of possession, Germany found it difficult to break through a disciplined defensive setup.

The turning point came after the break when Undav was introduced from the bench. His presence immediately lifted Germany’s attacking threat, and he levelled the score in the 68th minute after finishing a well-constructed move.

As the match edged toward full time, Undav delivered again in stoppage time, scoring the decisive goal to complete a dramatic turnaround and seal all three points for Germany.

The result underlined Germany’s ability to respond under pressure, while Undav further enhanced his reputation as a reliable impact substitute with another match-winning contribution.
