Chelsea forward Nicolas Jackson has reportedly agreed on contract terms with Bayern Munich for a permanent move once his loan deal ends next year.

Jackson moved to Bayern Munich on a season-long loan during the summer transfer window deadline day.

According to the German publication BILD (cited by Metro), Jackson has reached an understanding with the Bundesliga titleholders for a five-year contract to begin after the loan period.

Vincent Kompany’s team has secured this agreement with the Senegalese striker to prevent other clubs from pursuing him.

Bayern plans to take its time negotiating a transfer fee with Chelsea for the 24-year-old.

Jackson originally joined Chelsea from Villarreal, a Spanish LaLiga club, several years ago.

He has since fallen behind in the striker lineup at Stamford Bridge under manager Enzo Maresca, especially after the arrivals of Liam Delap and Joao Pedro.
