Crystal Palace manager Oliver Glasner is exploring the possibility of deploying Christantus Uche in a new position.
The Nigerian international joined Selhurst Park from the Spanish side Getafe on the final day of the transfer window.
Uche made his first appearance for the Eagles during last weekend’s goalless draw against Sunderland.
The 22-year-old also played in Tuesday’s Carabao Cup win over Millwall.
Originally an attacking midfielder, the former Ceuta player might be tried out as a striker under Glasner’s plans.
“Yes, he could be. He’s also physical. He’s an option that we are considering,” Glasner told the club’s official website.
