Tolu Arokodare has shared the motivation behind his move to Wolverhampton Wanderers.
The striker sealed a permanent switch to Molineux from Belgian side KRC Genk on transfer deadline day.
Although the 24-year-old attracted interest from several prominent European teams, he ultimately realized his ambition of playing in the Premier League.
The Nigerian forward made his first appearance for Wolves in their clash with Newcastle United at St James’ Park on Saturday.
Arokodare mentioned that he didn’t think twice about joining Vitor Pereira’s squad once the offer came in.
“When Wolverhampton became concrete, I didn’t hesitate for a second. No one had to convince me. Everyone also knew I absolutely wanted to go to the Premier League,” he told Belgian outlet HLN.
