Asisat Oshoala has expressed optimism that Al-Hilal can maintain their strong form after kicking off the new season with a dramatic win.
Al-Hilal opened their 2025/26 Saudi Arabia Premier League campaign on a high note, edging out Al-Qadsiah 4-3 in a tightly contested match on Friday night.
Oshoala, making her official debut for the club, converted a penalty to score her side’s third goal and played the entire match.
“It’s just the beginning, first game of the season, and we hope to continue like this as a team,” she said following the game.
The Super Falcons striker recently signed for Al-Hilal from Bay FC, a club competing in the Nigeria Women’s Soccer League (NWSL).
