Three Premier League teams reportedly made attempts to secure Kobbie Mainoo from Manchester United on a season-long loan during the recent transfer window.

According to Daily Mail, the clubs interested in bringing in the young midfielder were Everton, Aston Villa, and Tottenham Hotspur.

Mainoo had been keen on a temporary move away from Old Trafford in search of more regular playing opportunities this season.

Despite his request, Manchester United chose to keep the England international at the club and rejected all loan proposals.

In addition to the Premier League interest, clubs outside England also showed intent. French outfit Marseille, along with Italian sides Napoli and Roma, are said to have approached United about a potential move for the player.

In a separate development, Turkish giants Besiktas have reportedly submitted a €25 million offer for Arsenal attacker Leandro Trossard.

As reported by Sozcu Spor, the Super Lig side have revived their pursuit of the Belgian forward. Trossard’s future at Arsenal has come under scrutiny following the summer signings of Eberechi Eze and Noni Madueke, which may limit his playing time.
