Borussia Dortmund has prohibited all relatives of players from accessing the dressing room, following a recent incident involving Mark Bellingham, the father of Jobe Bellingham.

Although Dortmund held a 3-1 lead over St Pauli by the 85th minute, they ultimately allowed the visitors to equalize, ending their Bundesliga opener in a 3-3 draw.

Tensions surrounding the disappointing result were reportedly intensified by Mark and his wife, Denise, who were upset after their son Jobe was substituted at half-time during his debut appearance.

The couple remained near the tunnel after the match concluded, intending to express their concerns to the club’s leadership.

As reported by Sky Sports Germany, Mark engaged in an emotional exchange with Sebastian Kehl, Dortmund’s sporting director.

The report indicated that he conveyed dissatisfaction both with the timing of Jobe’s substitution and the overall performance of the squad.

According to BILD, Mark Bellingham also attempted to speak directly with head coach Niko Kovac, and “made no secret of his opinion.”
