Manchester City and the Premier League have reached an agreement regarding the regulations surrounding associated party transactions (APTs).
The club has now acknowledged that the existing APT guidelines are “valid and binding.”
Earlier in February, the former league title holders had challenged changes introduced to those rules.
These regulations are designed to ensure that commercial agreements, particularly those involving entities connected to a club’s ownership, reflect fair market value.
They also aim to stop any manipulation that could lead to the artificial boosting of financial deals.
On Monday, both Manchester City and the Premier League issued statements indicating they had “agreed to terminate the proceedings.”
Separately, the club is still facing over 100 charges from the Premier League related to alleged violations of financial regulations.
