Bayern Munich forward Harry Kane has set a new record by becoming the fastest player to score 100 goals for a new club across Europe’s top five leagues.
Kane achieved the milestone after netting twice in Bayern’s 4-0 win over Werder Bremen on Friday night.
The England striker surpassed the previous record jointly held by Cristiano Ronaldo and Erling Haaland, who both reached 100 goals for their respective clubs in 105 appearances. Kane, however, accomplished the feat in just 104 games for the German giants.
The 32-year-old reached the landmark by slotting past Karl Hein in the 65th minute, following a well-worked move involving teammate Luis Diaz.
This makes Kane the quickest player to reach 100 goals for a club in Europe’s top leagues on record.
Ronaldo reached his century for Real Madrid in August 2011, while Haaland hit the same mark for Manchester City in September 2024—both taking 105 matches to do so.
Kane joined Bayern Munich in 2023 after leaving Tottenham Hotspur.
