Nigeria’s Flying Eagles secured a 3-1 win over Australia in their final warm-up match ahead of the 2025 FIFA U-20 World Cup.
Goals from Tahir Maigana and Achichi Oseer gave Aliyu Zubairu’s team an early 2-0 lead, before the Australians reduced the deficit.
Charles Agada later found the back of the net to restore Nigeria’s two-goal cushion and seal the victory.
With the friendly concluded, the team will now focus on their first World Cup group-stage clash against Norway.
The Group F match is set to take place next Monday at the Estadio Fiscal in Talca.
Saudi Arabia and Colombia complete the lineup in Nigeria’s group.
