Former Tottenham Hotspur and Paris Saint-Germain manager Mauricio Pochettino is one of four candidates on Manchester United’s shortlist to replace Ruben Amorim if the club decides to part ways with the Portuguese coach.

According to TouchlineX, the four managers under consideration are Pochettino, Oliver Glasner, Andoni Iraola, and Gareth Southgate.

Amorim faces significant pressure at Old Trafford after just 10 months in charge of the Premier League side.

While Manchester United continue to back Amorim, the club’s leadership may be compelled to make a change if the team’s results do not improve.

The Red Devils would need to pay off Amorim to end his contract early.

Amorim’s current deal with the club runs until the summer of 2027.

The 40-year-old took over the Premier League team in November 2024.

United have experienced their worst season start in 33 years, earning only four points from four matches under Amorim’s management.
