Nigeria’s sprint sensation, Tobi Amusan, has advanced to the final of the women’s 100-meter hurdles at the Tokyo 2025 World Championships.
Amusan secured her place in the final after claiming victory in her semifinal race earlier today.
The 27-year-old delivered an outstanding performance, crossing the finish line in 12.36 seconds with a -0.2 wind reading.
She finished ahead of Nadine Visser of the Netherlands and Poland’s Pia Skrzyszowska, who came second and third respectively.
Visser posted a time of 12.45 seconds, while Skrzyszowska followed closely at 12.51 seconds.
Amusan, who holds the world record in the event, now heads into the final with the fastest qualifying time of 12.36 seconds.
