Fulham head coach Marco Silva has expressed confidence that the club’s newest addition, Samuel Chukwueze, will strengthen their attacking options.
Chukwueze completed a loan move from AC Milan to Fulham on transfer deadline day.
His signing brings the total number of Nigerian players at Craven Cottage to three, joining Calvin Bassey and Alex Iwobi, who are already important figures in Silva’s setup.
The winger linked up with the Fulham squad on Thursday after returning from international duty with the Super Eagles.
At 26, Chukwueze is expected to make his first appearance for the club in their upcoming match against Leeds United on Saturday.
“We believe the profiles of Chukwueze and Kevin will add to what we’ve been looking for in those areas of the pitch,” Silva was quoted by the club’s official website.
