Christian Eriksen is reportedly close to finalizing a move to Bundesliga side Wolfsburg this season, as per Danish outlet Tipsbladet.
The Danish midfielder became a free agent this summer after his contract with Manchester United expired.
Eriksen had earlier declined a proposal from English Championship club Wrexham.
Now, just 10 days after the close of the transfer window, the experienced playmaker has made a decision about his future.
Reports indicate that Wolfsburg have reached a personal agreement with Eriksen, who recently flew from Odense to Braunschweig to complete the deal.
The transfer, which comes at no cost, is expected to be completed once the player passes his medical assessment.
This move will reunite Eriksen with fellow Dane Peter Christiansen, who took on the role of managing director for sport at Wolfsburg in 2024.
