Bayelsa Queens are set to take on USFA of Burkina Faso in the semi-finals of the WAFU B Women’s Champions League.
The Nigerian side, popularly known as the Prosperity Girls, secured the top spot in Group B after a dominant 4-1 victory over Sam Nelly from Benin Republic on Saturday evening.
Under the guidance of coach Whyte Ogbonda, the team has now netted nine goals in the tournament while conceding just twice.
Their next opponents, USFA, finished as runners-up in Group A, coming in behind ASEC Mimosas from Côte d’Ivoire.
The semi-final showdown between Bayelsa Queens and USFA is scheduled to take place in Yamoussoukro on Tuesday.
In the other semi-final fixture, ASEC Mimosas will go head-to-head with Ghana’s Police Ladies.
