Manchester United manager, Ruben Amorim, has confirmed he will remain in charge after the international break.

However, Amorim emphasized his desire to continue in the role.

The Red Devils were knocked out of the Carabao Cup by League Two side Grimsby Town on Wednesday.

That loss has increased the pressure on Amorim as they get ready to face Burnley at Old Trafford on Saturday.

Amorim was asked by reporters on Friday, whether he was sure of not getting sacked during the international break, he replied: “I don’t know what is going to happen.

“That is my idea [to continue] but I’m not going to promise you nothing [about] what the future will be.

“But I am the manager of Manchester United and I think that is not going to change.”
