Newcastle United are considering seven possible forwards as they prepare for the potential departure of Alexander Isak.

Isak is reportedly pushing for a move to Liverpool during the current summer transfer window.

The Swedish forward has yet to feature for the Magpies this season, prompting manager Eddie Howe and the club’s recruitment team to accelerate their search for a replacement ahead of Monday’s transfer deadline.

Last week, Newcastle submitted a £50 million offer for Wolves striker Jorgen Strand Larsen, as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen their attacking options amid growing uncertainty over Isak’s future at St James’ Park.

As reported by The Athletic, players currently being monitored include Jorgen Strand Larsen, Yoane Wissa, and Nicolas Jackson.

Other names on the shortlist are Goncalo Ramos, Samu Aghehowa, Rodrigo Muniz, and Alexander Sorloth.
