Bayern Munich have reached a personal agreement with Chelsea forward Nicolas Jackson ahead of a potential switch to the Bundesliga.
As reported by German publication Bild, the Senegalese striker has settled personal terms with the German champions, although an agreement between Bayern and Chelsea for the transfer is still pending.
The club’s sporting leadership, Max Eberl and Christoph Freund, are reportedly restricted from signing an attacking player on a permanent deal this summer, making a loan move the most likely option. It is expected that Vincent Kompany’s team could include a clause allowing them to make the transfer permanent in 2026.
In a separate development, Arsenal announced on Monday that young midfielder Laila Harbert has completed a loan move to U.S. side Portland Thorns, where she will remain until January 2026.
The 18-year-old, who began her journey with Arsenal at the age of nine, signed her first professional contract with the club in January 2025.
She previously spent the latter part of the 2024/25 season on loan with Southampton, and will now continue her progression in the National Women’s Soccer League.
